Jaama’s MyDriver Portal cuts company car and grey fleet admin burden

A new self-help MyDriver Portal that can cut the administration involved with company and grey fleet vehicles is now available for Jaama’s Key2 asset management system.

Martin Evans, managing director of Jaama

Part of the company’s continued push towards self-service and paperless fleet management, MyDriver Portal enables drivers to manage their own personal information online, including contact details and driver licence information.

Additionally, MyDriver Portal provides a facility for drivers to update vehicle odometer readings and information relating to their own vehicles – MOT, vehicle servicing, VED and insurance – with all changes updated on the associated driver record in Key2.

In addition, eDeclaration consent made by employees for checks on their driving licences to be made with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency via MyDriver Portal reduces clerical errors or conflicts due to multiple data entry points.

The MyDriver Portal can also be configured to meet individual clients’ own corporate branding requirements.

Jaama managing director Martin Evans said: “The administration burden on fleet decision-makers is continually increasing. As a result, there is an increasing desire in conversations with our customers to remove what is considered ‘routine’, but remains critically important.

“Tools, such as MyDriver Portal, that enable drivers to self-help are becoming an essential requirement for fleet operators, and save significant back office manual intervention.”
