Innserve installs Cybit's Fleestar-Online in 250 service vans
Innserve supplies and maintains drink dispense systems for more than half of the UK’s licensed premises and has customers including Carlsberg, Heineken UK and Greene King. The firm makes in excess of 300,000 responsive maintenance visits per year and is to install the Fleetstar solution in 250 of its service vans to optimise performance against time-critical SLAs as well as increase the safety of its technicians.
Innserve will use Fleetstar as part of an integrated fleet management approach that also uses Toughbooks to control and monitor job distribution. The two systems will combine to boost productivity through visibility of both its technicians’ locations and job progression, enabling dynamic scheduling. In addition to performance, Innserve will use Fleetstar to strengthen lone-worker support and security in line with its Duty of Care responsibilities.
'We decided to order Fleetstar because it is very intuitive and easy to use for our control centre staff – who have complex technician management responsibilities,' commented Richard Japes, senior operations and development manager, Innserve. 'The vast majority of our jobs are reactive, which means we have a ticking clock of either four, 24 or 72 hours for every task and clear visibility is critical.

It's consultants are flexible and tailored what we’re deploying to address our individual needs. One example of this is that our deployment of Fleetstar will include a privacy button, so that we can’t see where the vehicles are when they’re being used privately, but we can still validate private mileage,' Mr Japes continued.
