Unveiled at last year’s CV Show, the pick-up and tip-up bodies supplement the Volkswagen Transporter 3.2t chassis and bring payloads of 1.2-tonne and 1.0-tonne respectively – normally associated with a 3.5t chassis.

Justin Gallen, managing director of Ingimex, explained: “The market, for the first time, now has the opportunity to take full advantage of load handling which is typically associated with larger vehicles, but with the driving characteristics of a compact lifestyle working vehicle.”

An accredited partner under VW’s Engineered to Go Programme, Ingimex has developed the vehicle bodies in partnership with the manufacturer. The bodies complement the VW Transporter chassis design, with tubular bulkheads and underbody footsteps. Security is taken care of with multiple load securing points on both the deck and bulkheads.
