Also among the prominent thinkers and decision makers speaking at the global summit of transport ministers in Leipzig (Germany) on 25-27 May will be Jeremy Rifkin, author of “The Third Industrial Revolution” and Enrique Peñalosa, former Mayor of Bogotá (Colombia) and sustain-able urban planning legend Jaime Lerner, former Governor of Paraná province, Brazil.

'We are proud that so many high-calibre thinkers and business leaders will again join transport ministers at their summit in Leipzig to debate the future of transport,' said Jack Short, secretary general of the International Transport Forum. 'Their participation is testimony to the relevance and attractiveness of the International Transport Forum’s annual summit as a unique platform for a global policy discussion on mobility for the 21st Century. The quality and the diversity of the speakers will make an inspiring and productive debate on this year’s theme, Transport for Society.'
