Increased collaboration between CAP and HPI to bring benefits for fleets

Following parent company Solera Holdings’ acquisition of CAP a year ago, the two companies will now operate jointly from a head office in Leeds, with HPI’s office in Salisbury to be closed in 2016.

Neil Hodson will lead the UK commercial operations of HPI and CAP as deputy managing director. Ian Rendle, formerly the chief executive officer of CAP, will lead both businesses as managing director, including expansion plans in Europe, and beyond.

Neil Hodson said that closer working between the two brands will enable a faster pace of innovation for UK customers.

Amanda Morgan, head of fleet at CAP and HPI, added: “A closer working relationship between CAP and HPI will provide fleet operators a wider view of the market, with a single point of contact. A greater level of insight will allow us to respond quickly to customer needs with new products and services.

“Although it is early days, customer feedback is already very positive. The efficiencies of working with CAP and HPI data in a more joined-up way are clear. We are also implementing a step change in the pace of innovation that will see a raft of new products hit the market in the coming months.”
