Inchcape Fleet Solutions is seeing strong results from its work to further drive its relationships with its customer base.

The business, which has been providing flexible fleet management solutions to corporate, government and non-profit sector clients throughout the UK for more than 50 years, is founded on the tenets of people and innovation, and says it’s committed to creating an incredible fleet customer experience.

This includes the recent introduction of Operational Account Managers to make sure its customer relationships are clearly defined and deliver claimed class-leading service.  This follows feedback over the last year that customers require a new type of multilevel relationship that will increase the level of operational responsibility for their fleet, give their drivers a seamless service 24/7 and one that will enable strategic support to help them thrive in a marketplace that is developing at an unprecedented rate.

As a result, the company now has support for its customers and their fleets at three levels: driver support via the helpdesk, operational support via Operational Account Managers and strategic support via Strategic Account Managers.

Matthew Rumble, Managing Director of Inchcape Fleet Solutions, said: “We have always prided ourselves on being agile and flexible to customer needs and thankfully, are in a position today to meet their expectations. We have many talented and passionate individuals who have the capability to make a difference at a driver, operational and strategic level.”

Operational Account Manager Jennifer Wilson has already been recognised for her work by achieving the distinction of being the top-performing student 2018 on the BVRLA’s Professional Fleet Consultant Development Programme.

With an average assignment mark of 97.5%, Wilson passed the programme with distinction and was invited by the BVRLA to attend its prestigious Annual Dinner, held last Thursday night (7 March 2019) at the London Hilton Hotel on Park Lane to receive her award.

“I really enjoyed taking part in the course,” said Wilson. “I thought the content was excellent and the skills and knowledge I have learnt will definitely enable me to deliver value to my customers.”

“We are extremely proud of Jennifer for winning this award,” added Jennifer Davis, Sales Director of Inchcape Fleet Solutions “This achievement is a reflection of her hard work and dedication to her studies and she thoroughly deserves the recognition. This is also a prime example of how our investment in employee development is supporting our efforts to fully understand the needs of our customers and provide them with a journey delivered with care, warmth and pride.”
