Hyundai adds higher-powered 129g/km diesel to Tucson line-up

The addition of the new unit means the Tucson now offers four diesel engines as well as two petrol units.

The 139bhp 1.7-litre turbo diesel engine provides maximum torque of 251lb.ft from 1,750rpm to 2,500rpm and Integrated Stop & Go (ISG) system as standard, which is also available for the 1.7-litre (low power), and the 2.0-litre standard-power diesel engines as well as the 1.6-litre petrol engine.

In combination with the 7DCT and front-wheel drive, the new unit emits 129g/km and offers 57.6mpg official combined fuel consumption.
