The event is a key networking date in the vehicle rental and leasing industry’s calendar and takes place this year on Thursday 2 March at the London Hilton on Park Lane as the association celebrates its 50th anniversary.

Honda UK joins Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Lombard, MS Automotive (London) Ltd and VRS in supporting the event and will showcase a range of its vehicles on the night. In addition head of cars Phil Webb will assist with the presentation of the BVRLA’s awards.

The major sponsorship announcement follows Honda’s recent relaunch of its ‘Platinum Business Programme’, which enables all of its UK dealers to offer fleet and SME expertise and capabilities, and comes as Honda launches its 2017 Civic, which is forecast to bring significantly higher residual values.

Phil Webb said: “2017 is not only a big year for the BVRLA, but it also sees Honda celebrate a major milestone as we launch the all-new Civic and our fleet team continues the expansion of our Platinum Business Programme. That’s why it’s a perfect time for us to support the fleet industry at the BVRLA Annual Dinner, and we’re looking forward to socialising with representatives from the rental and leasing sector and rewarding their hard work.”

This year’s Annual Dinner will also see the winners of the BVRLA’s Industry Hero and Industry Achievement awards announced during the evening’s proceedings
