HMRC announces increases for Advisory Fuel Rates

The new rates see a 1p per mile increase for diesel engines 1600cc or less and over 2000cc.

In addition, there are 1p increases for petrol engines of 1401cc to 2000cc and over 2000cc while the rate for the midsized LPG category increases 1p per mile.

 

The new AFR figures (old ones in brackets) are:

Hybrid cars are treated as either petrol or diesel cars for this purpose.

Fleets can use the previous rates for up to one month from the date the new rates apply.
