Hitachi Capital appoints first head of customer experience
The fleet specialist recently undertook workshops across its business aimed at making itself more of a partner for its customers than an operational supplier. Jackson’s role will involve driving this new emphasis to the core of the business.
‘The new focus, which my role will oversee, takes a long term view of our operations and is all about adding value, especially as we are operating in a very mature market place,’ Jackson explained.
‘By telling our customers something they don’t know, by giving them the edge over their competitors, we will become partners rather than just another supplier.’
Robert Wastell, managing director of Hitachi Capital Car Solutions, added: ‘David is the ideal candidate to be the voice of the customer at Hitachi Capital and drive this forward having been with us for almost four years and in the industry for nearly ten – he knows what they want, what they need and how to deliver it.’
