GreenLine versions of Skoda Rapid & Rapid Spaceback to deliver 99g/km

The latest additions to Skoda’s GreenLine range are powered by Skoda’s 1.6-litre TDI 89bhp DPF diesel engine linked to a five-speed manual transmission. The resultant emissions of 99g/km give rise to a BiK rating of 11% and VED Bad A.

Specification includes 15-inch “Carme” alloy wheels with low rolling resistance tyres, front fog lights and sunset glass. Inside there is a height-adjustable driver's seat, air-conditioning and a Maxi-DOT trip computer. In addition, standard Rapid and Rapid Spaceback kit includes heated door mirrors, height-adjustable head rests and reach-and-rake adjustable steering wheel.

The Skoda Rapid GreenLine is priced at £17,535 on the road, while the Rapid Spaceback GreenLine is £17,195. The duo are available to order now, with first customer deliveries expected early in 2014.

Launched last year, Skoda’s Rapid compact family hatchback sits between the Fabia and the Octavia in the carmaker’s line-up and offers excellent space for five passengers and their luggage. Set to arrive in showrooms in January 2014, the Rapid Spaceback version builds on this with its class-leading 415-litre boot and impressive interior space.
