Low-emission vehicle rental firm Green Motion has launched new pricing tiers to bring rental packages with varying levels of deposit, excess and mileage allowances.

The firm said the move brings a ‘multi-product under one brand’ option to differentiate between price points without the need to use sub-brands.

The four rental tiers include:

Basic: limited mileage with high excess and deposit, with no option for amendments, cancellations or refunds.

Plus: limited mileage with medium excess and deposit, with cancellation in line with terms and conditions.

Premium: unlimited mileage, low excess and deposit, with cancellation in line with terms and conditions.

Premium Plus: unlimited mileage, zero excess, low deposit, glass and tyre coverage, up to two free optional extras and cancellation up to 48 hours before hire.

Instead of adding more brands into the mix and fuelling the confusion, our new tiers clearly display the differentiation and simplify the customer’s process of finding the right provider.”
