The company has a strong focus on its own employee engagement and identified that a salary sacrifice car scheme could add significant value to its employees and its existing reward package.

Commenting on the company’s partnership with Zenith, Ian Metcalf, fleet manager for Grass Roots, said: ‘We were looking for a salary sacrifice and fleet provider who could not only deliver our own salary sacrifice car scheme but whom we could recommend to our own customers. We previously worked with Zenith through the implementation of the Santander car scheme systems and were also introduced to them by Santander Corporate Bank. Zenith’s expertise in both fleet and salary sacrifice was important in our decision to partner with them and the company was selected due to their high quality offering, leading fleet software and extremely knowledgeable individuals.’

The most popular car ordered within the first few weeks following launch has been the Ford Fiesta.
