G3 Vehicle Auctions has deployed a fleet of specialist multi-car transporters, marking the first phase of significant logistic expansion.

The initial half a million-pound investment in the three transporters will support the growth of the new £12m auction site in West Yorkshire

The remarketing specialist opened a new £12m site at Castleford in West Yorkshire in January 2021 and the initial half a million-pound investment in the three transporters will support the site’s growth. The business is targeting 50,000 vehicles a year to pass through the centre, which combines both digital and physical operations.

G3 has also added 10 new team members into the business to accommodate its growing list of vendors and their use of G3’s strategic network of 30+ storage centres across the UK.

The second phase of the fleet will see multiple two-vehicle transporters added, which are currently in production and due to be delivered to G3 in the coming weeks.

To oversee the expansion of the logistics team, dedicated transport manager Steve Morton has joined the team, bringing more than 25 years’ experience in the sector.
