Tom Marley joins the company as head of projects & developments and will assist the G3 directors in developing new markets within and outside the automotive sector.

Mr Marley has held a number of senior roles within the leisure/travel and more recently automotive industry.

Commenting on his new role, he said: ‘When the position became available it was difficult to refuse. G3 has ambitious plans covering a wide range of sectors, my role is to expand on these and help develop alternative opportunities and markets. The business is exceptionally dynamic, decisions can be made quickly and with no outside funding we are able to adapt to new markets literally overnight.'

He added: 'We have a number of new products launching over the coming months specifically targeting the remarketing and IT sectors of the automotive industry. These are exciting times for the business and its staff and I’m proud to be part of this expanding organisation.’

The company has also appointed Terry McDonald as senior account manager. Mr McDonald has over a decade of experience within the auction sector and will assume responsibility for the newly launched fortnightly online commercial auction programme.

He explained: ‘After almost 13-years working in the physical auctions and previously having worked with the G3 Directors, when approached to join the team I knew it was a golden opportunity to expand my skill-set. The business has set achievable goals which include a dedicated LCV online auction broadening G3’s appeal to both contract hire and finance companies. The business already boasts a number of regular commercial vendors and performance has reflected the levels of service and attention to detail the staff already employ.'
