Fuel Card Services publishes free online guide to fleet sustainability guidance in free online flip-book

The free download, the first in a series, offers clear guidance on. It also outlines essential practical steps on exhaust emissions, journey efficiency and fuel consumption.

The guide has been published by Fuel Card Services under its ‘The Green Journey’ banner, which is the group’s approach to helping fleet managers with their sustainability commitments backed up by its experience. The company says it’s also the automotive industry’s only organisation to become an official partner of Cool Earth, the leading environmental charity.

The new online flip-book opens with an overview of recent environmental news, emphasising all-party governmental commitment to meeting Kyoto emissions targets. This leads into a brief outline of Cool Earth’s achievements in making a real, front-line difference in protecting threatened rainforests. It then offers guidelines for fleet managers on setting clear and measurable benchmarks, on defining targets and on monitoring results.

The Green Journey’s new flip-book is available to read, free, at http://www.thegreenjourney.co.uk/download-sustainability-update-issue-1/.
