Free2Move Lease has been awarded a place on both Lots 1 & 2 of the Framework Agreement, for up to four years, which means the company will be able to tender for Welsh Public Sector Contract Hire requirements for cars, 4x4s and any commercial vehicles up to 3.5-tonnes gross vehicle weight (GVW). In addition, the agreement allows for the supply of alternative fuel vehicles, hybrid vehicles and ultra-low emission vehicles, as well as fully converted vehicles.

Organisations that can use the Framework Agreement include Local Authorities, NHS Organisations, the emergency services, Housing Associations, Higher and Further Education organisations, schools, sixth-form colleges and academies, Welsh Government and Welsh Government sponsored bodies, Third Sector organisations and Charities.

Free2Move lease general manager Mark Pickles commented, “Gaining a place as a supplier on the All Wales Contract Hire Framework agreement is a major opportunity for Free2Move Lease to increase the size of our Public Sector fleet and to demonstrate what we can offer to a wider range of Public Sector customers, in what is a key target area for growth for us over the coming years. We look forward to working with the Welsh Public Sector to deliver the solutions they require”.

The latest All Wales Framework Agreement was established by the National Procurement Service, which arranges collaborative procurement frameworks for a range of goods and services on behalf of the Welsh Public Sector.
