Forthcoming summit to focus on challenges in EV charging standardisation

The EV Charging Infrastructure and Grid Integration event is being hosted by London Business Conferences and takes place at the Ibis Hotel in Earl's Court, London on 30 November to 1 December. The summit will include speakers from the USA, Hong Kong, Japan and 10 different European countries to provide an understanding on how to manage the impact of electric vehicles on the grid.

Senior executives from many major EV stakeholder industries including EDF, EON, BMW, Renault, TEPCO, Think, Galve, CLP Power, Daimler, ACEA, CEZ, REE will also be at the meeting, as will vehicle OEM speakers such as Renault UK, BMW and Daimler.

In addition, Government stakeholders will be at the event, such as the Office for Low Emission Vehicles in the UK, the Ministry of Economy and Technology in Germany and the UK's One North East.

Emerging EV charging product developer, Chargestorm will be showcasing the Charge Controller Unit (CCU), a system that has the capability to measure current consumption of the vehicle charger and to provide access control to the charger station. German-based technology supplier, Cinterion also plans to unveil its latest grid-to-grid communication technology to utilise in the development of efficient charging post communications.
