Former ING Car Lease MD appointed new Glass’s MD
Tilbrook joins the UK team on effective 15th April, bringing a wealth of industry expertise from the vehicle leasing and car rental sector.
During his 10 years as MD of ING Bank Group subsidiary, ING Car Lease UK, he oversaw a six-fold increase in business growth and profit.
Following ING Group’s sale of its European car leasing activities to BMW AG in October 2011, Tilbrook was responsible for the successful Integration of BMW’s Alphabet business with ING Car Lease in the UK and French markets.
He has also held roles with LeasePlan Corporation NV and LeasePlan UK, and in 2006 was elected chairman of the British Vehicle Leasing Association’s Leasing and Fleet Management board.

Tilbrook replaces Michael Bergmann, who has been promoted to the position of European managing director, responsible for all country organisations of the EurotaxGlass’s Group.
