FMG retains Investor In People award

The company, which employs 320 people, first received the accreditation in 2008. To remain certified, employees are interviewed every three years by ‘Investors in People’ assessors, focusing on subjects such as leadership, learning and development, communication and training within the organisation.

FMG’s latest report paid testament to an exceptional team working ethos, a strong commitment to people development and recognised that “delivering high standards of service was at the forefront of how people undertake their duties.”

CEO of FMG, John Catling said: “We are very proud of this accolade as our people are vital to the success of our business. Our continuous and significant investment in employee development and training, together with our commitment to supporting work-life balance needs, ensures FMG remains a great place to work. As a result, our people apply themselves with extra vigour and they are passionate about going the extra mile to enhance the customer experience.”

FMG added that its investment in people is also evidenced by staff loyalty; over one-third of staff (35%) have served over 10 years and a further 31% have served over 5 years.

“This experience and knowledge is crucial to ensuring the provision of a trusted, high-quality, right-first-time service,” said Catling.
