Fleets urged to use real-time independent data on emissions

“We have the technology, it should be used,” explained Cédriane de Boucaud, CEO of Tantalum Corporation.  “Accurate, real-life data for CO2 emissions and MPG is possible for the majority of the global car park. There is no reason we should rely on testing data in labs to get accurate information. We can take readings every minute directly from the vehicles themselves. This is the way to manage pollution and the environment going forwards. Tantalum Corporation is independent  – as such we are trusted to collect, manage and share the data.

“The issue of CO2 emissions is already high on the agenda for fleet operators who manage large volumes of vehicles on UK roads.  This concern is now heightened with the realisation that they may well have been basing buying decisions on false data. Installation of our technology in vehicles provides vital insights for fleet owners in particular to address CSR concerns. It also gives the manufacturers themselves a valuable way to rebuild confidence with their customers.”
