Fleets offered white-label version of Autorola vehicle disposal platform

Fleets can now use a white-label version of Autorola’s vehicle disposal platform to remarket straight to the trade.

Jon Mitchell, Autorola UK’s group sales director

It means fleets don’t need to develop their own digital platform and can benefit from promoting vehicles direct to other wholesale buyers digitally without any of the transport costs associated with selling the car physically.

The portal is already being used by OEMs including Peugeot, VW and Nissan.

A data feed is taken from the fleet operator’s internal asset management system accompanied by a reserve price and the stock is then offered for sale to Autorola’s online national network of 2,000 live trade buyers.

The service is backed by proactive work by the Autorola sales team to highlight used cars to buyers of similar stock to increase the speed of sale.

Autorola’s fully managed end-to-end process also includes transport. Each vehicle is inspected and collected and then delivered to the buyer. On delivery the vehicle is inspected again, and a 24-hour grievance period enables the new owner to report any problems which are then resolved by the Autorola customer service team.

“During 2020 we saw a large percentage of used cars sold online and our portal enables fleets to sell used cars to the trade without them having to invest in their own digital platform,” explained Jon Mitchell, Autorola UK’s group sales director.

Many leasing, rental and funders have a strong brand which we can use to their advantage when selling used cars into the trade. Our online platform is tried and tested over two decades which immediately benefits fleets from launch,” he added.
