The model, showcased at the Geneva motor show, is part of a new generation of European-designed, engineered and built models from Nissan and is focused on offering a combination of sharp design, low CO2 emissions and first-in-sector technologies. These include Around View Monitor, a parking camera system which should save fleets a small fortune by helping drivers avoid low-speed dings, and Safety Shield, which combines Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning and Moving Object Detection in one affordable package.

The Note is one of over 200 vehicles that will be present at the Fleet World Fleet Show on Wednesday 24th April and available to test on both the Silverstone Grand Prix and Stowe circuits as well as public roads in the area.

The Nissan line-up at the Fleet World Fleet Show will also include some models to rev up the excitement in the form of the Nissan GT-R and new Juke Nismo, plus there’ll be the opportunity to test drive the Qashqai, Juke and many more from Nissan’s passenger car and LCV range.

This will include the new Nissan LEAF. Developed and engineered specifically for the European market, the new LEAF is now built at Nissan's Sunderland facility and features new technologies designed to offer improved real-world battery efficiency and a host of detail enhancements to make life even easier.

In fact, the latest model features over 100 significant improvements include a boosted boot space and travel range, while it’s still BiK-free till 2015 and congestion charge exempt.

And continuing on the EV theme, the Fleet Show will also include the latest in charging technology, with the showcasing of the AutoCharge PAYG EV charging pedestal from Rolec EV.

At the Show, the company – which manufactures one of the largest and most comprehensive range of EV charging stations in Europe – will be demonstrating why it believes this new pay-as-you-go charging pedestal will be the first of its kind to offer both bank secure chip/pin and contactless payment charging solutions.  This revolutionary charging station will also offer communication and back office management based on the standardised Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP), making it eligible for government grant funding.

Rolec will be one of a large number of leading fleet supplier firms exhibiting at the Fleet Show in the state-of-the-art Silverstone Wing conference centre, providing fleets with an unrivalled chance to see the latest innovations in the fleet industry.
