Fleet World Fleet Show: Extensive line-up includes UK reveal of Infiniti Q50

By / 11 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The Q50, showed last month at the Geneva Motor Show, heralds a new design direction for the Infiniti range – all of which in future will bear a Q for saloons and coupes or QX badge for crossovers and SUVs – and reinforces the brand's status as a true technology leader.

As well as featuring a powerful and distinctive design, the Q50 leads new technology innovations, including the world's first Direct Adaptive Steering technology.

The model will be displayed on the Infiniti stand at the Fleet World Fleet Show on Wednesday 24th April and will also be joined by Infiniti’s M hybrid and diesel and the FX diesel, which will be available to drive on public roads in the area as well as the Silverstone Grand Prix and Stowe circuits.

These models form just part of the 200-vehicle line-up from 21 manufacturers.

The Fleet Show will also offer a stunning array of other fleet activities to provide visitors with a vast amount of choice. These, include an indoor exhibition area in the state-of-the-art Silverstone Wing conference centre with exhibits from a host of fleet suppliers from across the industry spectrum.

Exhibitors will include Venson Automotive Solutions, whose staff will be on hand to listen to visitors’ fleet challenges and see how the company can help. The company offers extensive knowledge from working with both car and commercial fleets, across a range of industries, and says it can tailor its fleet programmes and can include products such as vehicle funding and in-life management, equip for service, daily hire and in-house accident management to name but a few.

In addition, for the second year running, Venson Automotive Solutions will be hosting a “Question Time” style panel discussion session where delegates will be able to question a panel of specially selected guests on a wide range of fleet topics.

This year’s Show will also feature an extensive fleet seminar programme, sponsored by ARI Fleet UK, and including presentations from the Centre for Automotive Industry Research at Cardiff Business School; CENEX, the Centre of Excellence for Low Carbon and Fuel Cell Technologies; the University of Birmingham’s Centre for Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Research; and global automotive consultancy, Ricardo.

And there will be a Fleet & Mobility Workshop, chaired by Nigel Trotman, Head of Strategic Consultancy at international leasing company, Alphabet.

At the same time, the final of the Fleet Driver of the Year competition, organised by ALD Automotive in conjunction with Peak Performance and Toyota & Lexus Fleet Services, will be held live at the Show, with a drive in a Lexus LFA supercar the prize in store for the lucky winner.
