Mr Allen, who has extensive leadership experience in the fleet industry, took up his current post at the beginning of 2013 having spent the previous 10 years as managing director of ALD Automotive.

He said: ‘The fleet industry is highly dynamic and what we are seeing at the moment is a certain amount of re-thinking as major fleets assess their method of operation in the light of new products and services coming to the market.’

Mr Allen’s presentation will be the curtain raiser to the conference and seminar session, which is sponsored by ARI Fleet UK. He will present to delegates a high-level management overview of the key issues facing fleets in the coming months and years, highlighting what he believes will be the major trends in the industry and explaining how these will affect fleet decision making in the future.

Show organiser and Fleet World managing editor, Ross Durkin, commented: ‘I’m delighted that Keith Allen accepted our invitation to address the conference at this year’s event.

‘I’ve known Keith for many years and, like many in the industry, hold his opinion in the highest regard. His accountancy background and fleet industry experience provide the right balance between the enthusiasm and commitment needed to grow a business, and the realism that is so important when charting a passage through the difficult times caused by an uncertain economy.’

The Fleet World Fleet Show takes place on Wednesday 24th April at Silverstone. To register for the event, phone 01727 739160, visit www.thefleetshow.co.uk or click here.
