Craig Thomas explores the A-Class’s cabin.

The A-Class’s cabin is a striking example of how to design a car interior

Let’s talk about interiors. No, this isn’t Elle Decoration: we’re going to talk about the A-Class’s cabin, which is a striking example of how to design a car interior.

From the man-made leather/microfibre seat upholstery, to the soft-touch materials and the 64-colour ambient lighting, it feels every inch a premium car. The seats are also very comfortable: after three/four-hour trips, you feel absolutely fresh at the end of the drive.

Then there’s the dashboard, with its twin 10.25-inch screens. They clearly supply the driver with all the information they need, and act as a visual highlight to the interior. They’re definitely the shape of things to come.
