Fleet Trak adds The Driving Doctor training to its product offer

Fleet management company, Fleet Trak Limited, has partnered with The Driving Doctor to offer driver behaviour monitoring software and coaching to its customer base.

Fleet Trak and The Driving Doctor

Fleet Trak sees The Driving Doctor as a complementary part of its product offer.

The Driving Doctor’s software uses data from TomTom Telematics hardware, analyses it through an IT platform and provides the driver with individual driving advice, feedback and coaching, while also scoring them on engagement. For Fleet Trak, it builds on two consecutive years as the largest reseller for TomTom Telematics, in 2016 and 2017.

Sean Malone, Fleet Trak’s managing director, said: “The Driving Doctor technology is the missing link to driver improvement and will help amalgamate our portfolio of products. One-to-one driver training has its place but unless the results are monitored on a regular basis, the driver can easily slip back into bad habits, increasing the risk, reducing efficiency and eroding its cost-effectiveness. The Driving Doctor ticks all of these boxes and more as the coaching is constant and based on real-time driver data.”

Paul Ripley, CEO of The Driving Doctor, added: “Fleet Trak will now be able to provide extensive safer driving benefits to their own blue-chip client base, together with operational advantages and efficiencies. These will deliver significant cost savings and reduce accidents, both of which are major benefits in relation to their customers’ business profitability and duty of care to employees.”
