Show organisers have revealed that a total of 44 fleet service companies have signed up to attend the event, which is being held over three halls of the state-of-art Silverstone Wing and three circuits of the world-famous Grand Prix track.

Fleet service companies attending include contract hire and leasing suppliers, daily rental companies, fleet management providers, fleet servicing companies, fleet software suppliers, licence checking companies, recharging infrastructure suppliers, fuel card providers, mileage capture specialists and trade associations.

There will be plenty of new launches and innovations on display. For example, fuel card specialist, Fuelmate, is launching JourneyTrack – a new mileage-capture solution enabling companies to manage their fuel and mileage expenses in line with HMRC guidelines.

Fleet management provider, Fleet Operations, will be showcasing a new multi-bid solution, MOVE, which automates the multi-supplier procurement process.

And fleet management solutions group, IFC Fleet Services, will be promoting new developments from its three main operating companies.

These include mileage capture specialist, Vertivia, which will be displaying its new 4.0 Mileage Management system; BBS Fleet Logistics which will demonstrate a new online portal to allows customers to book in or modify vehicle movements; and IFC which will be showing off the new functionality of its online vehicle selector.

This year’s Show also boasts a host of newcomers including established fleet suppliers such as Kwik-Fit Fleet and Activa Contracts, a subsidiary of Arnold Clark Automobiles.

Others new  this year include fleet management provider, CVM Group; APT Controls, specialists in security, car access control and electric vehicle charging; and telematics and satellite navigation suppliers, NWX Ltd.

Another highlight of Fleet Show 2016 is likely to be The ‘Stop the Crash’ driver experience being demonstrated by Thatcham Research Centre, alongside Bosch and Driving For Better Business. It will focus on the very latest Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) systems, one of the most important primary safety technologies of recent years.

Show director, Jerry Ramsdale, said: “We are thrilled with the support for the Fleet Show from fleet service companies this year which, in combination with test driving and fleet education, makes this the most complete fleet event anywhere in the UK.

“The Silverstone Wing will again be the venue for a full-scale fleet exhibition which boasts a more diverse array of exhibitors than ever before. This area will also provide our Show visitors with the chance to hold face-to-face meetings, to network and to socially interact with exhibitors and other visitors alike.

“This year’s Show really does offer something for everyone with a huge exhibition, test driving of the latest models and fleet education. We believe it fully justifies a day out of the office for fleet decision-makers in a not-to-be missed opportunity,” he said.

On the education front, a new Question Time-style interactive session will be led by industry experts and will tackle some of the leading fleet topics of the day, as well as addressing concerns from the floor.

Last year’s Fleet Show attracted higher numbers of top quality fleet decision-makers than ever before – up 25% on the previous year – and the audience has increased in size every year since the inaugural event in 2011.

This year, the audience will be audited by the Audit Bureau of Circulation (ABC) for the first time to give a clear and auditable record of the number of fleet decision-makers attending the event.

Registration for this year’s event is now open and progressing well. Details of how to register can be found here: http://thefleetshow.co.uk/visitors.
