Fleet-focused new Škoda Octavia SE Technology models to start from £22,410 and incur 28% Benefit-in-Kind (BiK).

New SE Technology models available with two engine options and two bodystyles

The new Octavia, which was launched in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, is available to order now in SE Technology trim, which has been designed with fleets and company car buyers in mind.

Two engine options include a petrol 1.5 TSI 150hp and a diesel 2.0 TDI outputting 115hp. Both drive the front wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.

Octavia SE Technology models feature 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, leather multi-function steering wheel, voice control and front and rear parking sensors with manoeuvre assist.

All SE Technology models come with Škoda’s range-topping Columbus infotainment system, with 10-inch touchscreen and digital driver’s instrument cluster. Map zoom can be controlled using the touch-sensitive volume slider on the centre console and for the first time, the map can be displayed on either screen.

ECall, remote vehicle access and infotainment apps also feature thanks to eSIM integration. Inside, passengers benefit from five USB-C ports. Apple CarPlay is also fitted as standard, with Android Auto to be added at a later date.

SE Technology starts from a P11D value of £22,410, with BiK from 28% for the 1.5 TSI 150hp hatch model. Options include Full LED Matrix headlights, an electric boot, integrated tow bar and 17-inch alloy wheels.

The estate version’s boot is claimed to be the largest in the segment, and is larger than previous, as is the hatch version’s.

Fleets will enjoy convenience features including a filler tube for AdBlue, which allows forfilling up using a lorry pump. Other innovative features include a storage compartment in the front doors with an umbrella, and a filling funnel integrated into the lid of the windscreen washer tank.

Driver safety systems are the most comprehensive yet for the Octavia and now include Front Assist, Lane Assist and up to nine airbags, including a driver knee airbag and rear side airbags.

The Škoda Octavia SE Technology is available to order now, with first deliveries expected later this summer with additional variants scheduled to arrive by the end of the year, Škoda finished.
