The business, which was a new business start-up itself some eight years ago, says that SMEs can often struggle with a lack of corporate discounts due to insufficient financial accounting information, including on vehicles.

To help provide a helping hand, Fleet Evolution is now offering corporate rates to new businesses for all their vehicle needs; this includes its recently launched standalone fleet management service, which brings a number of services that small businesses may not normally be able to access, such as designing legally compliant and environmentally sound fleet policies; identifying relevant vehicles for the business, both cars and vans; providing both long and short term vehicles at competitive, corporate rates; carrying out licence checks on employees; and handling mileage claims.

Risk management services can include sourcing appropriate insurance policies for smaller companies who may struggle to find partners in the early days; and carrying out risk assessments on the new business start-up’s activities.

Andrew Leech, managing director of Fleet Evolution, said: “As experts in fleet management and employee car schemes, we are passionate about the SME market, which we see as the backbone of the UK economy.

“And we want to partner with small businesses to help them develop the right strategy for their fleets, whether that be permanent vehicle provision or just supplying temporary vehicles when needed – whatever the business needs to get up and running properly.

“We are happy to support new and small companies in these vital ways, easing both the headache and financial strain of an essential part of their business, by sharing our expertise, taking the fleet off their worry list and reducing cost, while at the same time growing the partnership as they begin to grow their business,” he added.
