The report explores the benefits of technologies including Autonomous Emergency Braking as well as telematics

Published in collaboration with MiX Telematics and aimed at a global audience, the ‘Using technology to improve fleet safety’ guide includes information on the benefits of technology such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including both automated and warning systems, and driver behaviour systems and telematics. It also gives an update on developments with automated and connected vehicles.

The report also provides an overview of crash protection for vehicle occupants, crash protection for those outside the vehicle (other road users), blind spot protection, and anti-driver impairment and distraction systems.

Also featured is a case study of a company, located in New Zealand but said to provide a global example.
