Fleet Assist to run open day for leasing firms and garage network

Taking place on 22 June, the event builds on the previous open days in 2012 and 2014 and will bring together Fleet Assist’s contract hire and leasing company customers with the franchise and independent garages servicing, maintaining and repairing their company cars and vans.

Fleet Assist works with a significant number of the UK’s leading contract hire and leasing companies collectively operating more than 700,000 vehicles, and delivers a national network of more than 8,000 service outlets.

Management level attendance at the Cambridgeshire-based company’s open day will come from Lex Autolease as well as a wide range of other leading providers such as: Alphabet, Days Fleet, Fleet Hire, Grosvenor Leasing, JCT600 Vehicle Leasing Solutions and Tusker.

Fleet Assist also expects more than 150 garage representatives to attend the open day where they will:

  • Participate in group question and answer sessions with leasing company representatives and discuss key trends and operational issues
  • Be able to have one-to-one discussions with individual leasing companies
  • Meet the Fleet Assist team and receive demonstrations of the company’s systems and processes during an office guided tour.

Furthermore, exhibiting at the open day will be a number of Fleet Assist’s strategic partners which support the network and there will be an exhibition of both classic and new cars of special interest.

Fleet Assist commercial director Vincent St Claire said: “The fleet market is all about partnerships and companies and their suppliers working hand-in-hand with each other to deliver an even better mutually beneficial service. Bringing together the two sides of the Fleet Assist business – our leasing company customers and our garage network – will deliver further benefits to end-user fleets nationwide.”
