Fleet Assist expands service outlet network

The company provides its leasing company clients, which collectively operate some 700,000 vehicles, with a nationwide network of audited service outlets delivering service, maintenance and repair (SMR) to pre-agreed terms and conditions, pricing and service standards with quality management and performance monitoring.

Now approaching some 7,500 service outlets, Snows Group is among recent recruits to join the network. The motor retailer is a privately owned, family company with a network of 29 franchise dealerships in southern England including BMW, Kia, Lexus, Lotus, MINI, Peugeot, SEAT Toyota and Volvo.

Snows Group corporate sales manager Richard Betts said: “We joined Fleet Assist because we wanted a greater focus on aftersales. Fleet Assist has proved to be an excellent partner and the volume of fleet-related vehicle work that has passed through our workshops has greatly exceeded our expectations.

“We set an initial throughput target and we are running at 110% of that after the first year of the partnership with Fleet Assist. We are confident that the increase in SMR spend will further rise as we enter the second year of working with Fleet Assist.”

Vincent St Claire, commercial director, Fleet Assist, added: “Snows Group as well as the independent garages have proved to be a very important addition to our fully managed network of franchised and non-franchised repairers increasing our nationwide coverage with consistent service delivery levels and highly competitive pricing.

“Wherever possible business is directed into our network that trades on a common set of terms and conditions and the net result is improved service delivery and purchasing terms for the leasing companies and increased business volumes with lower administration costs for the service agents.”
