Grant Boardman, currently sales manager, becomes regional sales director while finance manager Angela Robertson is promoted to the position of finance director.

They join managing director Martin Brown and commercial director David Blackmore on the executive board of the company, which earlier this year revealed its fleet size had passed the 10,000 mark for the first time in its history.

‘We would like to welcome Grant and Angela to our executive board. They have both played key parts in the success of the business and have been very influential,’ said Martin Brown.

‘We wish them all possible success with their new roles and responsibilities and remain convinced that they will continue to make lasting contributions to the continued expansion of the company,’ he added.

This year’s Fleet News FN50 league table of leading contract hire and leasing companies reveals that Fleet Alliance has 8,208 cars and 1,921 vans under management on behalf of corporate clients, which puts it at number11 in the list of leading fleet management companies by fleet size.

‘While 2012 has undoubtedly been a tough year of consolidation and entrenchment for many firms, we are seeing signs of economic recovery with increased employment and higher levels of business confidence, which augurs well for the coming year,’ added Martin Brown.
