The company said it is especially pleased to be shortlisted in the Customer Focus Award category as it regards customer service as its number one priority. Initiatives in this area include ‘Fleet Alliance Loves’, which encourages engagement, trust, fairness and respect.

Fleet Alliance also credits its focus on customer service with its strong business results. The company has reported four record years in a row and seen its operating profit grow by 58% in the last 12 months. Already this year, operating profits are up by over 30%.

The company’s nominations at the National Business Awards, the results of which will be announced at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel in November, come in a year in which the company has already seen significant awards success, including being voted one of the best places to work in the UK following the results of a survey by the independent Great Place to Work Institute.

And earlier in the year, Fleet Alliance was rated the UK’s top vehicle leasing and fleet management company for service to customers in the annual Experteye customer satisfaction survey.

Fleet Alliance managing director, Martin Brown said: “We are delighted to receive further recognition of our efforts by again being shortlisted for the Customer Focus Award and the Employer of the Year Award at the 2015 National Business Awards.

“We have continued to improve our customer service proposition in the last 12 months, with further investment and new customer service initiatives, a belief that has been backed up by our results.

“In the last 12 months we have invested heavily in developing our new client relationship management software which is integrated into e-fleet, our cloud-based fleet management and reporting tool, further enhancing our excellent customer service by providing clients with live, real-time information.

“At the same time, we are proud to have worked closely with staff, clients, suppliers and family on many charitable events and have donated over £193,000 to date since 2008.

“We have also worked hard to reduce the CO2 of our clients’ fleets by 12.4 billion gramsover the last six years which equates to 2,800 less vehicles on the road, and we were pleased to see our carbon reduction programme recognised by the Green Organisation in the form of a Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice.

“We are delighted that these efforts, and others, have again been recognised by the nominations in the prestigious National Business Awards scheme and look forward to the results with great anticipation,” he said.
