Fleet Alliance "daredevils" jump for charity

The death-defying charity high dive was in aid of Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres and swells the amount the company has raised for the charity this year to over £13,350.

The famous five, who were sky-diving for the first time, were (left to right Inset): Lauren Sallows, Hayley McGhie, Leigh Meldrum, Laura McKechnie and Jenny McRobb.

Jenny McRobb, from sales support, said:  ‘We decided to do the jump because we admire all the work that Maggie’s does and we wanted to contribute to this, whilst at the same time setting ourselves a personal challenge.’

Fleet Alliance managing director, Martin Brown praised the efforts of the fearsome five.

He commented, ‘They are to be applauded for the bravery and initiative they have shown in this fantastic fund-raising effort for Maggie’s Cancer Care centres.’

Maggie’s Cancer Care Charity comprise five centres in Scotland, including Edinburgh and Glasgow, plus London, Oxford and south west Wales, with three more planned in Nottingham, the north east and the Cotswolds.
