Fix Auto UK has appointed Rob Lake as a key account manager, further strengthening the team.

Lake joins the bodyshop network with experience in senior roles within both the repair and insurance sectors, having spent 19 months as operations manager for UK Select and 18 years with Direct Line Group. He will work alongside Mark Bushell and report into Fix Auto UK’s head of key accounts, Paul Smith.

Commenting on his new role, Lake said: “Who can ignore what Fix Auto UK is achieving within our industry? It’s going to be an exciting challenge and it is one I am really looking forward to as I get to know and understand the requirements all of the insurer clients and the network.”

Paul Smith added: “Having worked with Rob previously at Direct Line Group and knowing the person he is, I am certain he will be a great addition to Fix Auto UK. He has a vast amount of insurer experience which will benefit the continued improvements we have seen from our network for all accounts over the past 12 months.”
