FCA awarded place on CCS framework

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles UK says it’s been granted inclusion on the new Crown Commercial Service (CCS) RM6060 vehicle purchase framework agreement.

FCA already supplies vehicles to 10 of the UK’s 13 NHS ambulance trusts

The new agreement – full details of which will be announced on 2 December – will replace the current RM1070 vehicle purchase framework, which expires on 1 December 2018 and covers nine lots, ranging from cars to commercial vehicles and motorcycles, including blue light vehicles. Users range from police and ambulance services to nurses, consultants and lecturers.

FCA – which is also on the RM1070 agreement and supplies vehicles to 10 of the UK’s 13 NHS ambulance trusts – said it was hopeful of the growth the new agreement can deliver.

Neil McNicholl, Motability & national public sector manager, FCA UK, said: “The breadth of the current FCA Group range is key to us serving the mobility needs of a range of public services – from coach-built Ducato vans for the UK ambulance trusts, to the new Jeep Compass and Renegade for rural applications, and the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio for senior management use.

“And we also see the Fiat Tipo as a perfect fit for doctors, nurses and first responders – lots of practical space, with a starting price of just £9,995.”

FCA has also added a 24-hour servicing programme, mobile maintenance team for warranty work and additional field fleet support and head office staff to further enhance its corporate fleet sales operation.
