Ex-fleet manager joins CBVC to drive customer savings
Elliot Southerton has joined fleet management and leasing specialist CBVC as fleet manager to help customers optimise their fleets and benefit from the latest technological developments.
The role will see Southerton draw on his fleet management experience at Interserve, which culminated in the role of group fleet operations manager managing a fleet of over 4,500 cars, LCVs, HGVs and specialised vehicles.
Southerton plans to use his fleet and financial knowledge to deliver effective cost savings for CBVC fleet customers.
Mike Manners, managing director at CBVC, said: “Elliot will be a real asset to the business. Despite being relatively new to the industry he comes with strong fleet management experience. His input will assist all our clients in achieving cost savings and control, vital when fleet is often the second largest expense to a business.”
Southerton added: “This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a business who is at the forefront of the industry implementing the latest in fleet technology and strategy. Part of the difficulty of large corporate conglomerates are the many hoops you’re required to jump through to implement even the smallest of changes, not something that is a problem by utilising the outsourced fleet management solution offered by CBVC.”
