A range of SmartWitness solutions will be launched this week (w/c 22nd July 2019) to Eworks Manager customers ranging from single dashcams to live multi-channel systems.

The partnership with SmartWitness now means that they can add video telematics easily and with little or no vehicle downtime.

Eworks Manager provides comprehensive job management solutions to thousands of businesses in construction, electrical, HVAC, glazing, horticulture and cleaning services, with many clients keen to add live video telematics, the firm said.

Eworks Manager serves companies ranging from multi-nationals to sole traders, and provides a platform to manage their workflow, including quotes, inventory, assets, employee scheduling, monitoring and invoicing.

Eworks Manager global business director, David Taylor, said: “Our clients need to protect themselves against the “blame game” of road incidents. If a firm cannot provide video evidence of what happened in a road incident, they are laying themselves open to potentially expensive and time-consuming legal disputes.

“The SmartWitness product range suits all the requirements of our clients, from blue-chip construction firms needing connected multi-camera systems for their fleet, to a one-man-band needing just a dashcam for his van.

The SmartWitness technology that made this partnership possible for Eworks, is the SmartWitness API platform, an application that allows traditional telematics providers to add video functionality easily, securely, and profitably, the firm said.

SmartAPI integrates with traditional telematics systems via the cloud so service providers can add SmartWitness video hardware to their existing applications and enhance the services which they offer their clients.
