Based in Berkshire, BF Forecasts (UK) Ltd will be headed up by Tim Lewis as MD. Lewis brings over 20 years’ experience in the UK and European fleet and leasing industry. His career includes national sales manager of an independent leasing company, the establishment of Volvo’s leasing company and then corporate sales director of Volvo UK followed by international experience setting-up Masterlease Europe prior to his move to BF Forecasts in 2012.

Lewis said: ‘I have known Bähr and Fess Forecasts since Dieter Fess and Reinhard Bähr set the company up, in 1998. At that time I was joint MD of Masterlease Europe and was looking for a robust forecasting model that we could use in all our European operations. I was introduced to B&F and found that they could provide just what I was looking for. I am delighted to have the opportunity of contributing to Bähr and Fess’s continued success, here in the UK.’

Dieter Fess added: ‘We have known Tim Lewis for a very long time and do appreciate his way of doing business and interacting with people very much. We are extraordinary happy to have such an experienced and competent colleague on board and we are very confident that Tim will fit perfectly in his role as the country manager of B&F UK!’

With the move into the UK, BF Forecasts is now present in 11 European countries. The firm provides services for the leasing and financing industries, fleet operators as well as manufacturers and the automobile industry in general. Since its foundation, the company has specialised in the creation of reliable and accurate residual value forecasts. These are available as single products and in the form of portfolio analysis, studies and software solutions, in addition to Europe in North America and China.
