Essential Fleet Services supports growth plans with senior appointment

The firm, previously the Fleet and Passenger Services division at Kier Group prior to its acquisition by Leeds-headquartered private equity firm Endless last July, has completed a comprehensive restructure that has seen the business withdraw from the passenger service market to focus on specialist fleet.

The new appointment will see Steve Worrell lead sales activity in the north of England, and work closely with local authorities, and the construction and utility sectors.

With over 21 years in the industry, Worrell joins the business from EurotaxGlass’s, where he held a number of senior sales roles, including sales director.

Ed Hummel, commercial director of Essential Fleet Services, commented: “Steve brings a wealth of experience to the role and will champion a customer led approach across the business. Essential Fleet Services is on track to establish itself as the UK’s leading operator and provider of specialist fleets to the public and private sectors.”
