Enterprise Rent-A-Car develops enhanced long-term rental solution

By / 6 months ago / Latest News / No Comments

Enterprise Rent-A-Car is offering an enhanced rental solution for businesses needing vehicles for a month or longer, bringing added support as the pandemic continues to disrupt travel patterns.

The Enterprise Long-Term Rentals solution enables firms to rent cars and vans for longer periods efficiently, including based on vehicle emissions, and without any termination penalties

The Enterprise Long-Term Rentals solution enables firms to rent cars and vans for longer periods efficiently, including based on vehicle emissions, and without any termination penalties.

It’s being offered in the UK, Ireland, Germany, France and Spain following repeated national lockdowns in Europe – which have limited fleet availability and made it harder for businesses to predict when and for how long an employee may require a vehicle, highlighting the need for long-term rental solutions.

It supports employees who may now be working from home and need a vehicle for business trips or to go into an office. Alternatively, it can provide additional cover for their leased or purchased fleets when a company vehicle is being replaced.

Employees can also obtain cars and vans of every type for contractual work, seasonal work or new employee probation periods.

Businesses can select a flexible rental duration from a month to several years, with enhanced service option to enable easy extensions and no penalties for early return. Customers can also request a specific make and model of vehicle, subject to availability, and exchange vehicles during the rental at no extra cost.

The new solution enables businesses to select vehicles by class or also by CO2 banding in the UK.

Cars and vans can quickly be booked online and the service can be totally customised to suit an organisation’s specific travel policy.

Businesses can also use Enterprise’s free pick-up and 24-hour roadside assistance services.

Adrian Bewley, assistant vice president of European business mobility at Enterprise, said: “We’ve designed Enterprise Long-Term Rentals to enable employees and key workers to remain mobile, in a modern, safe, low-emission and well-equipped vehicle, with the peace of mind that they can keep the vehicle for longer to meet changing business mobility needs.

“In a time of such massive uncertainty, the need for flexible, convenient business solutions is more acute than ever. Enterprise Long-Term Rentals enables organisations to cost-effectively keep vehicles for lengthy periods, whether for employees awaiting a company car or for those working on projects and short-term contracts.”
