Enterprise launches car club in Belfast

Enterprise Car Club has opened a new scheme in Belfast, bringing drivers 24/7 access to cars and vans to hire on an hourly or daily basis.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s Boucher Road branch in Belfast now offers five car club vehicles

The scheme is being offered by the firm’s Boucher Road branch alongside its daily rental services and means drivers can access two Ford Transit vans and three cars – comprising a hybrid Toyota C-HR, a Toyota Auris and a Ford Fiesta – with plans for further vehicles over the coming months.

The service enables drivers to access vehicles even when the branch is closed, just by booking via the mobile app and picking up the vehicle using their smartphone. Fees for the car club vehicles start from £4.50 an hour or £25 a day.

Taking out Enterprise Car Club membership also enables users to access the firm’s network of 1,100 car club vehicles across more than 130 cities and communities across England, Scotland and Wales.

Diane Mulholland, general manager of Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Northern Ireland, said: “This is an exciting innovation, and something that our customers have told us will make a huge difference to our service as they can book and pick up the vehicles whenever they want, even when the branch is closed.

“The new Boucher Road branch is part of a network of six locations in and around Belfast, including branches at the Belfast City and International Airports. It is conveniently located, and provides easy access for anyone needing a car or a van without going near the city centre where there is more likely to be congestion.”
