Eaglecliff signs up with Alphabet for flexible mobility solution

Eaglecliff contractors were in need of a business travel solution to meet their mobility requirements over a specific nine-month period for a nationwide project to rebrand a UK network of service stations.

As well as entering initial discussions with two daily rental providers, Eaglecliff also consulted with Alphabet and decided to opt for Alphabet’s longer-term, flexible rental service, AlphaRent+, to meet its specific requirements.

Owned and managed by Alphabet, the AlphaRent+ scheme offers Eaglecliff and its contractors a greater choice of vehicles, as well as a guarantee of the make, model and crucially fuel type. AlphaRent+ also provides increased flexibility by enabling longer-term rental bookings without requiring drivers to change vehicles.

Greater certainty over the models and fuel types of vehicle being driven has also meant that Eaglecliff’s P11D reporting process has been made easier and more straightforward.

Meanwhile drivers have benefited from higher-specification vehicles equipped for business, with sat nav and Bluetooth fitted as standard to the AlphaRent+ fleet.

Currently, Alphabet has provided Eaglecliff with 10 AlphaRent+ vehicles for a nine-month period, including BMW 1 Series, 3 Series and MINI models to meet the different requirements of their drivers.

Gary MacDonald, rental sales manager at Alphabet, said: “We introduced AlphaRent+ to supplement our daily rental and contract hire offerings as a more flexible alternative. Over the past 12 months we’ve expanded our AlphaRent+ fleet in line with customer demand. In conjunction with our AlphaCity Corporate CarSharing product this means we can uniquely offer our customers solutions for short term vehicle access from one hour to one year and everything in between.”
