Dunham-Bush selects C-Track for advanced vehicle tracking
Dunham-Bush is using the C-track system for 11 cars and vans, with the implementation intended to enhance customer service, health and safety, vehicle security and management reporting.
Real-time location information will enable Dunham-Bush’s office-based customer service team to use C-track to identify the nearest and most appropriate engineer for an incoming job. This will allow the company to not only cut response times to call-outs, but also lower fuel usage by reducing vehicle mileage. In addition, Dunham-Bush will also be able to inform customers of any changes to scheduled arrival times should any delays occur.
Dunham-Bush will also use C-track’s extensive reporting capability for tax auditing, legislative compliance and job verification. This will enable the company to confirm private mileage for P11d tax purposes; ensure adherence of Duty of Care requirements; and provide customers with proof of service for all site visits.
Dave Banfield, service manager at Dunham-Bush, commented: 'C-track’s real-time tracking of our field service engineers will improve our overall efficiency, whilst enhancing the ability to support our customers. The system’s useful reporting capability will also enable us to better manage the fleet within our wider business operation.'
