DS 3 debuts contactless payment car key
Drivers who’ve forgotten their wallets could turn to their car keys in the future with the debut of new contactless payment technology from DS Automobiles.

Exclusively available on September orders for the DS 3 in Connected Chic trim, the device uses Barclaycard’s bPay technology, which draws upon Radio-Frequency IDentification (RFID) technology to turn the existing DS 3 car key into a payment method.
According to The UK Cards Association, a third of all card transactions are now contactless.
