Clibbery has held senior posts with British Gas, Fleet Cost Management, Overdrive, Arval, Centrica and The AA as well as latterly running a successful consulting business providing services to the automotive sector.

‘I am absolutely delighted to have Chris on board,’ said Mark Andrews, founder and managing director of driverConnex. ‘Chris brings a great deal of experience and expert industry knowledge, between us we have touched at some point in our careers all facets of the vehicle ownership lifecycle.’

Clibbery commented: ‘Virtually all organisations with an interest in the needs of drivers are contemplating the potential of mobile technology but often struggling to work out how best to integrate mobile technology solutions into their existing operations to embrace this revolution. This is where I know driverConnex can help.

‘With no legacy systems ourselves and an agile development team in support, we will rapidly expand our core platform and range of mobile applications and services such that we can rapidly, and cost effectively, configure tailored and, as required, branded solutions to meet particular client needs and opportunities. Furthermore, if there is a piece of work to be done at the outset to scope needs and define a mobile communications strategy then we can do that to.’
