Driver Hire and Horizon Vehicle Management tie-up to widen services

Fleet incident management specialist Horizon Vehicle Management is partnering with transport and logistics recruitment company Driver Hire to bring a wider spectrum of services to market.

Driver Hire has teamed up with Horizon Vehicle Management to widen the spectrum of services it can recommend to its customers

Driver Hire offers a range of services to fleets under its DriveWise portfolio, including licence checking, fleet audits, pro-active driver profiling, in-vehicle coaching and driver workshops.

Meanwhile Horizon Vehicle Management has over 40 years’ experience in the world of incident management, offering a nationwide, round-the-clock service that can tailored to suit fleets needs, and include first response, insurer liaison, nationwide vehicle recovery, repair and replacement fleet vehicles.

The new partnership will see the firms recommend each other’s services to customers.

David Slack, Driver Hire’s commercial director, explained: “DriveWise and Horizon Vehicle Management offer services that are in sync. For instance, Horizon Vehicle Management will be offering our licence checking service to their customers. In turn we can recommend their specialist, trusted fleet accident management to our customers.”

Horizon Vehicle Management’s director Danny Flowers added: “When added to driver profiles, our data on incidents can be used to further indicate their exposure to risk. Through DriveWise, they can then arrange appropriate in-vehicle coaching to improve their driving and reduce incidents. Our joint overall aim is to make roads safer for everyone. We’re looking forward to working together to introduce an even greater range of risk management services.”
