Driver app enables electronic vehicle checks
Drivers can now carry out fully electronic vehicle checks with Masternaut’s Smarter Driver app.
The Masternaut app enables drivers to submit fully electronic vehicle checks.
Rather than having to fill in forms to carry out daily vehicle walkaround checks, new functionality on the app enables drivers to run through a 20-point checklist on a smartphone, swiping right if the item is in good order, or left if there is an issue to report.
This checklist is based on the DVSA and FORS van check recommended for driver safety and vehicle maintenance.
Although the feature is aimed at van drivers, it can also be used by car drivers too. Available on both iOS and Android, the new app is free to new or existing clients who use Masternaut Connect fleet management service.
